Forwared ports

Hello, I've just bought NAT VPS and get forwarded ports between 13300 - 13320. Is it in some way possible, that they don't work? big_smile I tried to host applications in this port range, everything was fine, but when I wanted to use it online, ports were dead. 13300 port for SSH doesn't work, too. Can somebody help me, please? Probably, I'm just doing something wrong, but on my last VPS from MegaVZ I did same steps and everything ran good.

Re: Forwared ports

What is your internal IP and which company did you buy your VPS from?

Re: Forwared ports

Hm, ok. Looks good so far. You probably did already double-check if you're using the correct external IP? (curl -4 ifconfig.co)

No, pretty sure he bought from me. 192.168.0.133 is the IP we use in our DEMO example.

Re: Forwared ports

I have a silly question along the same lines.  I'm trying to have an application bind a UDP socket to a particular port on the IPv4 address and I haven't had much success.

The application says it is bound to a particular port but no data appears to be getting to the application.  I've tried binding to 0.0.0.0 and the local ipv4, but it doesn't make a difference.   What might I be doing wrong?

Re: Forwared ports

You can tell by how long it took me to respond how important this is.  IPV6 works so that's what I was using for demos.

Netstat shows a UDP socket is open at the port, but does not show "listening".

Re: Forwared ports

No, but since it is UDP, that may not be a problem.
