Re: UK Migrations

I will need to open a ticket with solusvm (Done tticket ID: EYQ-012919), I have fixed this one for @manjana but I am not going to go through 400+ config files and manually remove the old ranges.

Re: UK Migrations

Thanks, Anthony! Hope they'll provide you with a proper solution for this.

I wouldn't have cared if this was just a visual issue, but in some cases the vps tried to use the old gateway which breaks v6-connectivity. sad

Re: UK Migrations

Hi, i just woke up to this migration. It seems IP is working fine, but the reverse proxy i had set up with my domain is not. Should I open another ticket on inception hosting?

Have you updated your DNS record to point towards the new ip?

Does the dns name resolve to the new ip?

Hi mikho,

Have you updated your DNS record to point towards the new ip?

Does the dns name resolve to the new ip?

I realized this just after posting, but it just took a while to pass through (>1h). It all works fine now, and I feel like a noob, rightly so ;-).

Thanks!

Re: UK Migrations

Is there a short term fix for the IPv6 problem? I can't do things such as apt-get update at the moment.

Thanks

There are no IPv6 problems right now.

Have you assigned yourself a new IPv6 from solusvm?

Re: UK Migrations

Yes I have. I think the old IPv6 entry is causing the issue. Do you know of any workaround to remove it before solus respond to the ticket that you logged?

Thanks

Re: UK Migrations

If you have removed the old IPv& a reboot usually fixes it.
Unless it's only removed from the GUI and not from the VPS config file. Then the "easy" solution is to recreate the VPS. sad

Re: UK Migrations

Ah ok. I think I'll just ask Anthony to delete and re-create my three LES VPS because there's nothing important on them.
