LES Japan: IPv6 problems and resolv.conf

Hello,
I just freshly reinstalled my Japan LES (debian 9 64bit).
I noticed two problems:
1) System put in resolv.conf just "nameserver 127.0.0.1". At each reboot.
2) Pinging to a linode ipv6 (of another my VPS) doesn't works. Seems that the ipv6 connectivity isn't working.

The system was fresh installed and I already tried "reconfigure network" and rebooting.

What's happens?

"27 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 26002ms"

Thanks!

Re: LES Japan: IPv6 problems and resolv.conf

Probably my previous "Up" was misunderstood. It was a bump.
However the connectivity problem was resolved (I suppose was related to the other "Mininode 5" thread) but my resolv.conf is still rewrited to 127.0.0.1 at each boot.

click reconfigure networking, should sort it out, failing that you could make it immutable e.g. 'chattr +i /etc/resolv.conf'

Re: LES Japan: IPv6 problems and resolv.conf

I've already tried before open the thread.
I just retry but still 127.0.0.1; if you cannot fix on your side, I'll try the road of +i.
What should be the correct dns server for this LES?

you can use anyone you want although default is:

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

Fine, I supposed that there was something "near" that was better than google. big_smile

I've resolved with a local dnsmasq, like I already did on the UK Mininode2
