[MRVM] US Lenoir really slow

Hello,

just bought a vps in US - Lenoir. And its reacting really slow. I am currently running an upgrade of the default debian 8 minimal image. I am waiting for ~10 minutes now and its currently at 16%. Tried the german and australian servers aswell and they are much faster... Is this node just overloaded?

I checked now and the load is not that high, the i/o is showing no wait.

Was it slow downloading or installing? What repo/location did you use?
Could it be that you used a mirror that had bad peering with Lenoir?

I tried it last night as well just after he posted. It was fine for me.

It was the installing. Downloading was fine. The load and i/o wasnt too high but somehow it felt slow. Just tried again using it and its fine now, dunno what was wrong

could be that someone did a benchmark test when you updated?
The I/O would suck while it was running

Could be. Tried multiple times within like 1-2 hours. But its working now. Thanks for the help anyway
