Request: Network kernel module

I would like to request the dummy network module to be added (dummy.ko: a dummy net driver). It is basically a module that creates a network interface which can be used to bind IPs to. For example I want to test some DNS services which bind to port 53 and that port can't be changed, therefore it makes sense to add several IP addresses. Unfortunately subinterfaces don't work as they mess up the routing of the different IP addresses as the routing daemon sees only one interface.

I've tested this on a CentOS 6 server running 2.6.32-042stab104.1 with several Debian guests and there were no issues.

The process for getting the dummy module added is:
modprobe dummy
/usr/sbin/vzctl set xxx --netdev_add dummy0 --save

The module itself is really light, only ~200 lines of code:
[[email protected] ~]# lsmod | grep du
Module                  Size  Used by
dummy                   2690  0
