Get a VPS. There are many providers that offer storage servers for a good price. How much storage are you looking for?

#5 Re: Chit Chat and Stuff (The Pub) » Might start scaling back LES vps » 2019-04-02 11:07:39

I am scaling back mine a bit. It's not what I wanted to do really. But I am going to do a couple of different things this year.
One will be moving all my status site to LES using a couple of machines for the redundancy. As it is currently elsewhere.
I am also looking into making a small forum for a couple of friends so I am going to try and make it work with LES.

I think the NAT idea is great I mean look at MRVM he is taking over the world. I just like the community side of it like helping people if possible. That's why I made a small status page for the community, just a small tool that the community can use.

My 2c :-)

Have you made sure that the correct port is been used by openvpn?
Edit: Did you reboot after enabling Tun/Tap. Just try that sometimes it works.

Hi timsan MRVM offers Debian 8, Debian 9, CentOS 7 and Ubuntu 16.04. As far as I can tell they are not on the order page but can be accessed and installed via the control panel built into the client area.

I hope I helped!!

*Edit*
Help Page!

Its a work in progress but shows all operating systems that are available.

Go to this link https://vpsadmin.inceptionhosting.com/login.php

Inception Hosting use SolusVM which means you have to login to a separate panel to reinstall your OS.

https://vpsadmin.inceptionhosting.com/login.php

You should have a login in your welcome email.

"Password: The same as the root password entered during sign up and avilable via the billing portal under 'My Services' (If you already have access to the control panel please use your existing password)"

I don't think it will be a problem doing that. Lots of people do.

Overall Just DO IT!!!

Also if you want help setting it up. Feel free to email me.

#23 Re: General Support, Help Section » [Inception] Follow-up to ticket 736472 » 2018-08-25 12:24:59

I must be on a differnet node because I have had no problems with it at all. If there was any problems I would not complain for €3.50 a year.

#25 Re: General Support, Help Section » Question on bandwidth over usage » 2018-08-03 16:12:22

I am not 100% sure but I would assume that it is automatic as SolusVM does this on other hosts. Anthony will reply with the correct information.
