Connect to server using other server!

This is how to connect to lowendspirit server using other server that has ipv4 and ipv6 connectivity. I assume other server is debian based.

Connect to your other server using Putty and make(for debian/ubuntu):

apt-get update

apt-get upgrade

apt-get install socat

To ssh to your ipv6 only server use this:

socat TCP4-LISTEN:22,fork,su=nobody TCP6:[ipv6:address:your:serv]:22

This will point all traffic on port 22 of your ipv4/ipv6 server to ipv6 only server on same port. You can use any ports you like, this was just on example. If you want to use some other port lets say on ipv4/ipv6 server you already use port 22 for ssh, you can use lets say port 1234:

socat TCP4-LISTEN:1234,fork,su=nobody TCP6:[ipv6:address:your:serv]:22

After this you can use Putty and point it to ipv4 server on port:1234.

If you want to see your website you could use:

socat TCP4-LISTEN:80,fork,su=nobody TCP6:[ipv6:address:your:serv]:80

Now most important if you want to make this permanent then you need to add following lines to file /etc/rc.local:

nano /etc/rc.local

nohup socat TCP4-LISTEN:22,fork,su=nobody TCP6:[ipv6:address:your:serv]:22 &

nohup socat TCP4-LISTEN:80,fork,su=nobody TCP6:[ipv6:address:your:serv]:80 &

Hope this help'd someone!

Regards!
