CIFS / Samba kernel module?

Hi everyone,

I think that "mounting some additional storage into an LES server" is a pretty common task - and also that SMB / CIFS is one of the most common protocols for that. However, it seems like the CIFS kernel module is not loaded? Is that intentional? Would it be possible to load that kernel module?

I'm using a LES server from "Mr. VM" / "Freecpanelsharedhosting" (did they change names?) in Falkenstein, Germany.

Thanks in any case,

Re: CIFS / Samba kernel module?

Last time I checked it was loaded.   Strange.

Having some network issues where the client area is and working on that now.
Will have a look later on.
