Thoughts on using a VPS NAT as a OpenVPN.

I am in a little doubt as to how much of a burden having a OpenVPN installed on a VPS NAT 128 might be. Does it put much strain on the actual VPS in terms of CPU and Bandwidth? For example watching youtube.?

Would it be a security / privacy issue. Thinking of would my surfing habits / usage be logged in the main host server?

What are peoples experiences.?
