No IPv6 on US node since updates?

Anyone else lacking IPv6 connectivity on the US node (I'm on the one with 192.168.20.X addresses)? Sure it was fine yesterday, but can't reach it/out by IPv6 today...

Lost IPv6 on 104.161.79.44 (Phoenix) 01/10/2018 23:14:22. IPv4 still responds.

Confirmed.  Mine was working OK via V6 yesterday, but it's down now even after begrudgingly restarting the VPS and reconfiguring networking through SolusVM.

Looking good now, thanks.

I'm sure most of us rebooting fleets of things thanks to Meltdown/Spectre have found the odd thing that doesn't quite come back up as expected smile

Re: No IPv6 on US node since updates?

Indeed, the entire exercise was a comedy of errors from start to finish, on top of the usual stuff and human error, I had 3 different virt types OVZ, Xen (PV+HVM) and KVM and all of their individual nuances to deal with and on top of that most nodes allso were updated from libvirt 2.0.0 to 3.4.0 as part of the upgrade which came with its own set of unexpected challenges.

My initial plan was to save the ram states and pause the disks for all full virt services and restore them so no one actually experienced a full reboot, usually this works fine however solusvm started enabling VGA and accel2d+3d by default for no reason at all it seems about 6 months ago, which was ignored by 2.0.0 as thats actually a virtal-box feature in QEMU, sadly in 3.4.0 it refused to boot it with it enabled.

So I had to then manually edit the ram saves (which is not easy) manually 1 at a time to accommodate as at that point post hardware reboot I could not unpause them and if I just triggered a reboot it would have been like someone pulled the power plug as far at the virtual machines were concerned and apart from the potential issues with that they probably all would have fsck'ed at the same time.

So that was fun!

And Centos6+Xen released a kernel that puts the host node in a boot loop and guest kernels that fail to boot.

And then when doing an openvz node in the middle of the vz service starting I reached for a pen to update my nodes and I accidentally hit pause/break.

overkill explination but it felt good to get it off my chest haha.

You're making me reconsider getting back into this industry.  Maybe I don't dislike working on shitty cars.
