[MrVM] Can't add domain to Shared Hosting

I'm trying to add a parked domain in cPanel, but get the error

"(XID 6rxzqn) Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver."

I don't want to use the shared hosting name servers. Seems this can be fixed if the administrator allows it. So my question, can this be allowed?

Re: [MrVM] Can't add domain to Shared Hosting

I think with cPanel you need to point the domain your are trying to park to the actual server. There would be no way to show a temporary site there unless it is pointing to the name servers. I was going to try this out but the Amsterdam server seems to be offline.

Edit: The sevrer was not offline I just cannot connect to it from my IP for some reason. But got it working on my phone

oh right Mr.VM I think you need to open a ticket, this forum is really for VPS support.

open a ticket and provide the nameserver IP and if it is not one of your own, then I'll probably allow it.
