Installing npm on a 128mb ram server

Hey, could someone do me a solid and try to install npm or yarn on a 128mb vps?

ive got one with 128 and my process just keeps getting killed instantly and i really doubt that my ram is even close to fully used.

thanks in advance

Connect one session and run top in that window.
Open a second connection and install npm again.....
You will see the ram usage there.

Try to shutdown other services while running the install script.

Okay so, definitely not enough ram, tried using ulimit with -v 60000 to make sure the process wont get killed, turns out, the installation wont even unless there is 1gb of ram allocated lol. trying to use swapspace now to maaaaybe get a better result... lets see

SWAP is not ram, even if it allows you to install npm you can be sure it will run like crap with only 128mb ram and disk based swap, not to mention that the host will likely kick you out for load abuse in the long run.

didnt work either way, guess ill just make a local one to figure out how much ram i actually need and then just buy a server accordingly
