Reinstall Issue. (SG)

I am not able to reinstall os completely. When I reinstall using Panel, the previous files on disk still remain but the os is reinstalled.
For ex. Previously on Debian I had my website on apache www/html files etc.
I reinstalled to Ubuntu. Reinstall action was successful. but still when I sftp I get my same old files in html folder.
I tried reinstalling 2 times but wont change.

When I 'sudo service apache2 reboot' it tells 'task is already queued up' bt service wont restart/reload.
When I 'sudo reboot' it would just stick there until I Ctrl+C.
Same is fr shutdown
Someone has any idea....?

Re: Reinstall Issue. (SG)

Backup your data to another device, and reinstall from scratch.  You can't just move between Debian to Ubuntu and expect everything to work; at the very least your Apache+PHP+etc should work.

try a different distro first e.g. go to centos 7 then to ubuntu.

Then you have no option but to open a ticket, it is likely your container is locked up, can you reboot?

No reboot, it would just stick there until I press Ctrl+C.
